Safety is our absolute priority.Sanitation Supervisor This position supervises the safe and timely cleaning of the food manufacturing facility and equipment in accordance with all Company, Customer, Certification and Regulatory requirements and supports facility compliance with records verification. The Sanitation Supervisor partners with other areas of the operation and external vendors to coordinate and continuously improve the facility Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This position supervises dedicated and, in some locations, voluntary sanitation personnel from all shifts of the operation and evaluates the effectiveness of employees executing the MSS and IPM with emphasis for safety, food safety, quality, and efficiency. Continuous improvement to the application of sanitation and pest programs is achieved with coaching and mentoring of individuals or teams to develop talent for the assigned tasks. Your Seat at the TableEfficiently coordinate team members to consistently create an environment suitable for the manufacture of human food and deliver operational performance goals by:
• Coordinating cross-functionally the MSS and IPM schedules and needs
• Planning, launching and modifying work schedules, assignments, and sanitation sequences to meet performance standards and MSS requirements
• Supervising, verifying and modifying the actions of employees engaged in cleaning and sanitizing the manufacturing facility to achieve optimal performance and sanitary effectiveness
• Utilizing metrics/data to evaluate, report and improve sanitation procedures, processes and efficiencies
• Developing and implementing sanitation improvement plans (equipment, people, process) to enhance sanitation systems and align with key performance targets
• Utilizing standard work processes to ensure repeatable performance
• Monitoring chemical inventories and sanitation equipment to ensure hazardous materials and/or wastes are handled properly
• Inspecting sanitation equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Serving as the facility contact and support for external resources such as chemical vendors, IPM contractors and waste collectors
• Supporting policy compliance, procedure execution and records collection to ensure consistently successful audits and inspections
What you bring to the table• High school or equivalent degree required; a two-year technical or bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a sanitation management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry
• RCA/CAPA experience
• Food Safety training or certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, SQF, BRC
• Chemical management, application, and safe handling practices
• Knowledge of techniques for maximizing the balance of production, maintenance and sanitation for a manufacturing operation
• Computer skills such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Share Point, Email, and data management programs such as Access, Cleanz, Maintenance Connect or other comparable system
• Time management skills; personal and team

• Mechanical aptitude for proper assembly, use and repair of equipment and communication with equipment vendors
