Enterprise Project Management Analyst Location: Corporate Headquarters located in Massillon, OhioWork Schedule: Hybrid, Tuesday - Thursday, onsite at Massillon, Ohio OverviewThe Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Analyst supports the Enterprise Project Management Office in ensuring that projects across the organization are aligned with strategic goals, adhere to governance standards, and are executed efficiently. This role involves extensive coordination, strategic planning, and analytical tasks to support the organization's project management activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Project management tools and system management
- Manage and maintain project management tools and software.
- Provide support and training to users on PMO systems and tools.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements on PMO tools and processes.
- Data analysis and reporting
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project performance metrics, such as KPIs, milestones, and risks.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Documentation and compliance
- Maintain project documentation, ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure projects adhere to PMO standards, methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of PMO processes and templates.
- Portfolio Management
- Collect, analyze, and report on portfolio performance metrics, such as project status, resource utilization, and financials.
- Maintain an up-to-date portfolio dashboard to provide visibility into project performance and health.
- Identify trends and issues within the portfolio and recommend corrective actions.
- Project support and coordination
- Assist Project Managers in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and update project status reports.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
- Process improvement and best practices
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the EPMO and across project management practices.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and governance.
- Promote the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement within the project management community.
Education and Work Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management and related field is preferred.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in project management.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with program co-ordination/administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while performing with a high degree of accuracy.
